Description

To make these incredibly tough, well-insulated coolers, Yeti adapted a process that's used to manufacture whitewater kayaks, creating a seamless one-piece shell that's highly resistant to both impact and rapid temperature change. The shell is then pressure-injected with polyurethane foam to provide exceptional insulation while reinforcing the cooler's strength and rigidity. Secured with heavy-duty rubber latches, the interlocking lid closure is lined with a thick gasket like those used in commercial freezers, forming a dependable thermal seal that prevents leaks, even if the cooler tips over.

The handles are made from sturdy polyester rope with robust plastic sleeves for a comfortable grip, and are set within molded recesses so they don't get in the way when you're packing the cooler amongst the rest of your gear. Other features, such as non-slip pads on the base and convenient tie-down slots for securing the cooler to a cargo bed or trailer, help ensure trouble-free transport.

The Tundra 35 (9 3/8" × 10 5/8" × 13 7/8" inside dimensions) holds 21 standard beverage cans when loaded with ice (at a 2:1 ice-to-cans ratio by volume), and the Tundra 45 (9 3/8" × 10 5/8" × 18 3/8" inside dimensions) holds 28 cans and ice (at a 2:1 ice-to-cans ratio by volume). Each comes with a dry-goods basket to keep loose items separated near the top of the cooler.
